When I look back at my journey, I realize that we must give back to the soil from which we have risen. The question was what and how to do it. I understood that by walking on the path of social service, we can contribute significantly to society. After deep self-reflection and thoughtful consideration, the seed of B.G.Foundation was planted.
I have achieved my education through immense hard work, determination, and perseverance. Having come from challenging circumstances, I strongly feel that the coming generations should not have to struggle in the same way. Their paths should be smoother and more accessible.
Through B.G. Foundation, our primary goal is to work for all sections of society, especially the underprivileged, deprived, and economically weaker sections in rural areas. The Foundation will focus on providing education, training, food, clothing, and shelter.
Children in rural areas must not be deprived of education.
We aim to guide rural boys and girls to excel at state, national, and international levels in sports.
We intend to provide complete guidance and training for rural girls in competitive examinations—from foundation level to becoming civil servants—so that their future becomes bright and secure.
We want to encourage students towards technical education so that instead of merely seeking jobs, they become entrepreneurs and create employment opportunities for others.
Women’s education is the most powerful tool for societal development. If a woman is educated, the entire family progresses.
No girl from rural areas should be deprived of education. Special focus must be given to ensure that in this modern era, no girl should left behind.
For this selfless mission, I invite you to join hands with me and move forward together for the welfare of society.
Yours sincerely,
Balwant Jayaram Gaikwad
